The Future Is Finally Here!
Remember Rosie the Robot on "The Jetsons"? This isn't her - it doesn't cook meals. But it's nearly as good! This is your robot maid, fully realized. My wife and I absolutely LOVE being able to press a button, walk out the door, and come home to a clean floor throughout our house. We love our Neato unit so much that we refer to it as "he" and talk to it, calling it "Neato" as if it was an extremely well-trained pet.
HOW THE NEATO WORKS: Press the large orange "On" button on the top to "wake up" the robot, then again if you want it to start cleaning. Walk away. Neato does the rest.
He comes with a magnetic strip that can be placed across doorways or around objects you don't want him to go near (like our super-thick, shaggy rug that gets caught in his beaters, or the fragile metal stand with the glass vase on it). He also comes with some filters that are supposed to be replaced fairly frequently, but I've found that if I (ironically) vacuum them out every...
Best Vacuum Ever!!!
This is my first review. Im only writing it cause this vacuum is that awesome and you people need to know it. First off Im lazy and vacuumed only twice a month or so. I have a lot of clutter on the floor and so I was concerned it wouldnt be able to handle my place and would just hung up all the time and simply be a cool novelty item. I wont talk about all the details of the maching cause im sure most of you allready researched or read quite a bit about it, so ill just go over some things I had difficulty finding but helped with my decision. Here goes, So I started researching and it appeared that the newest robot vacuums could actually still work in my lazy mans home. Well after reading countless reviews, checking the forums and watching videos on youtube I determined this was the best vacuum out there. I saw a comparison that took the roomba 780 this and a bagless upright to 3 rooms with same specs. Well after all three went over their respective rooms the xv11 picked up 4x...
In love
5/22/2012 Update; Simon has taught himself a more productive route to vaccum our main floors and is now able to do it all in one pass/charge. If we move him to another level in the house; it throws him off when returned to the main floor where his home charger base is located; he can still get the job done; but not as productive and takes him two days or so to relearn his pattern. Still a great product! I am a clean freak and have yet to feel the need to bring out the upright push vacuum.

This is a great product; I have wanted one for a while; due to my obsession with clean floors and feeling the need to vacuum daily...my husband thought I was ridiculous for purchasing and now even he is a
believer. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of dirt and dust this robot was able to pick up. Our floors are spotless.
We get a kick out of watching the little guy travel around (we named ours Simon); and perform his...
