This Vacuum Sucks!
If you like the suction found at a commercial car wash's vacuum islands, then the Hoover GUV is for you. The thirty foot hose covers my four-car garage, and the vacuum is super-quiet, --unlike my old Shop Vac that sounded like a jet engine and required ear protection when in use to avoid permanent hearing loss. Do be aware that you will have to mount this near an outlet --no extension cords are permitted due to current draw. I had to install an outlet just for this so I could mount it in the middle of the garage to allow the hose to reach each corner. Also, the filter clogs easily when subjected to fine particulates (like drywall dust) bt it's easy to wash. Above the filter is a mesh screen on the motor intake. Inspect and clean it when cleaning the filter to ensure the highest possible suction.
SPECTACULAR
PHENOMINAL!!!! I have never enjoyed a shop tool so much as I do this shop VAC. I use it in home and garage and outside. There are no limits on this thing. I go from tile and wood floors to my garage then on to driveway in 1 sweep. then change nozzles and dust home from floor to cielings. plus we use it daily and the canister is so big you only have to empty it about twice a year, I've owned many shop vac's, some very expensive, none can match this one. its SPECTACULAR!!!! worth every cent. I paid about $150. its worth twice that. Hope this helps you.
Excellent product
I use this in my art studio, and it has been a huge help for cleaning glass shards and dust
