Eureka Comfort Clean Cord Rewind, 4239AZ

This is a keeper
I have now bought 3 of these vacuums--one for my son, one for myself, and one for my cleaning lady(to use in her home.) My cleaning lady had been using the Eureka Boss Smart which is noisy, heavy, and made her arm ache. She tried my newly-purchased Eureka 3942 and was totally impressed. I decided to get one for her as a gift for dog-sitting my little shih tzu, Buddy.

What surprised me was that I had so much dirt in my carpets that my Sharp and Boss hadn't picked up. Because the dust bin empties out through the bottom, emptying is not a messy task. I didn't think I would like bagless, but find it's an instant-reward system because you see the dirt gathering in the bin as you work. You don't have to assume the machine is doing a good job---you've got the proof.

This vacuum pushes easily and is quiet. The cord rewind is zippy. The few tools fit snugly on the body and include a "power paw" which is like a mini vacuum with beater bar--good for carpeted stairs and...

Awesome vacuum!!!
I just returned a Bissell back to the store today, and bought this Eureka Cord Rewind. After about 5 minutes of easy assembly (have a few parts to snap together, others to screw in) I turned it on and began to vacuum... what an awesome machine!! It is not too loud, and it sucks dirt and dust like no other vacuum I've owned. Just to give you a better idea -- when I emptied the canister, the huge dust bunny contained dog/cat hair and I don't even have any pets! I'm very happy with the purchase, and highly recommend.

Just Got It - So Far, So Good
Just purchased this today. Assembly took about 20 minutes. It is a bit heavier than my last vacuum (a Bissel). But it's much quieter than I expected, and boy, it picked up SO MUCH DOG HAIR that I didn't even know was there. Does a great job of deep cleaning. I cleaned only about 15 square feet and that puppy picked up more dirt / hair than any other vacuum ever had. Previously, I owned a Bissel PET VACUUM that cost nearly $300. The thing crapped out after two years - and was probably only used once every couple months. I took it apart twice, cleaned every piece, and yet, it still crapped out.

Even though I've only used this once, I can already tell it is a greaet vacuum. Will update if any issues come up.
